Sacramental Preparation for Children

First Confession Preparation for ages 8-11

Our Parish Sacramental Preparation Program works with parents to help them prepare their children to receive the Sacraments. The program is a 6 week program. Parents and children attend together to learn the meaning of confession, how it works and the steps to a good confession. Upcoming dates and times are below.

Registration: July & August 2022
Classes: Sunday at Our Lady of Peace, 11:00am-12:30 pm in English. 1:30pm-3:00pm & 5:00-6:30pm in Spanish
Dates: September, 2022 thru April, 2023

Confirmation and First Communion Program for ages 9-11

Parents and children attend together to learn the meaning of Confirmation and Mass and how to actively receive both Sacraments. Upcoming dates and times are below.

6th-12th Grade Sacramental Prep

Our 6th-12th sacramental prep program consists of 3 parts. 

  1. Attend a Retreat

    1. Details and dates are given at registration

  2. Summer Program

    1. Our summer program runs Sunday-Thursday from 6:00pm-8:00pm

    2. 2022 dates TBD.

  3. Home Education

    1. Additional education must take places in the home in order for students to be fully prepared.

Home Based Sacramental Preparation

Our home based sacramental program is designed to allow parents to prepare their children at home to receive sacraments. The program will generally be 1 year for Confession and 1 year for Confirmation and First Communion but may vary depending on the student. Families must request to enter the Home Based Program.
