Pastor: Father Stephen Siebert
Fr. Stephen was born in Oak Park, Illinois and is the fifth of seven children. After wandering in his early adolescence, his father, having a conversion of his own, shared the good news with him. Shortly after, he heard a call to the priesthood. He entered the seminary in 1984 and later in 1987, joined the Missionaries of Charity Fathers in Tijuana, Mexico. He went on to receive a bachelor degree in sacred theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He then returned to Tijuana where he was ordained to the priesthood on July 2, 1994. After 11 years with the Missionaries of Charity Fathers, he decided to return to diocesan parish life and was received into the Archdiocese of Denver. Since then he has served as parochial vicar in Edwards, and St. John the Baptist in Longmont before becoming pastor of Holy Name in Denver. He spent the last 10 years as pastor of Our Lady of Peace in Greeley.
