After 11 years with the Missionaries of Charity Fathers, he decided to return to diocesan parish life and was received into the Archdiocese of Denver. Since then he has served as parochial vicar in Edwards, and St. John the Baptist in Longmont before becoming pastor of Holy Name in Denver.
